Manager, Production Operations

Aurora, ON L4G 0C6, Canada Full Time
Compensation: $95,000 to $110,000 Annually

Reporting to the Vice President of Production Operations, you will play a pivotal role in leading day-to-day production and testing activities to ensure on-time delivery, product quality, and cross-functional alignment.

In this position, you will be primarily responsible for managing a growing production team, optimizing manufacturing processes, and coordinating with internal departments to meet customer delivery expectations.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing daily production testing and assembly activities to meet delivery timelines
  • Managing team schedules, priorities, and performance across the Production Test and Integration team
  • Coordinating cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Sales, Program Management, and Quality
  • Driving process improvements and efficiency initiatives to support long-term growth
  • Ensuring readiness of tools, equipment, and materials to maintain production flow
  • Supporting testing, qualification, and troubleshooting for WOLF’s cutting-edge products
  • Upholding lab safety, cleanliness, and compliance with quality management systems
  • Communicating updates and risks to leadership and relevant internal stakeholders

About You

To qualify, you will need 3+ years of proven leadership experience in production, engineering, or manufacturing management, ideally with a degree or diploma in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). While post-secondary qualifications are preferred, your extensive relevant experience in managing production operations and driving team success will be essential.

Eligibility Requirements

WOLF is a military and aerospace manufacturer requiring strict adherence to CGP and ITAR requirements. As a condition of employment, applicants must be able to provide valid documentation to show Canadian or US citizenship or Canadian Permanent Residency and undergo a police check with no criminal background.

The following skills and background will be highly valued:

  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing production teams of 10+ through coaching, mentoring, and performance management
  • Hands-on experience with electronics testing, qualification, design validation, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering schematics, specifications, and manuals, and to train team members accordingly
  • In-depth knowledge of production best practices, quality control systems, and lean manufacturing principles
  • Familiarity with AS9100D and ISO9001 Quality Management Systems and audit preparation (asset)
  • Industry-specific experience with VPX (46.x, 65.x), XMC (42.x, 61.0, 88.0), or MXM form factors (asset)
  • Exposure to NVIDIA and/or AMD GPUs in a production or testing environment (asset)
