Set-Up Technician (Injection Moulding)

We are seeking an experienced Set-Up Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing machine setups, mould changes, and supporting the efficient operation of injection moulding equipment. The ideal candidate has experience in plastics manufacturing, strong mechanical aptitude, and excellent troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform machine setups and mould changes on injection moulding equipment.
• Start up and optimize machines to ensure efficient production.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime.
• Monitor machine performance and make process adjustments as required.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and quality.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Set-Up Technician in an injection moulding environment.
• Knowledge of injection moulding processes and mould changes.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work a rotating 12-hour continental shift.
