Job Title: Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical and electrical skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Perform routine inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate effectively with the production team.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Use basic computer skills to send emails and complete maintenance documentation.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Electrical and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) experience is considered an asset.
• Injection moulding experience is considered an asset.
• Good computer literacy with the ability to send emails and complete basic documentation.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work the afternoon shift and flexibility to rotate to other shifts in the future if required.
