Business Development Manager / Sales Executive – Metals & Industrial

Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager / Sales Executive with an established network of clients in the metals, automotive, or industrial manufacturing sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by leveraging existing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and selling metal products and processing services, including tube mill, cutting, fabrication, and related manufacturing solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional with strong industry knowledge, a proven track record of business development, and the ability to build long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage an existing book of business to generate immediate sales opportunities and revenue.
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business within the metals, automotive, construction, and industrial manufacturing sectors.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase market share and achieve revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, quotations, pricing, and order coordination.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and long-term supply arrangements.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and value-added services.
  • Sell metal products and processing services, including tubing, cutting, fabrication, and mill-processed materials.
  • Understand customer specifications, technical requirements, and manufacturing capabilities to deliver effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, operations, and customer service teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, quotations, and pipeline reports.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market pricing to identify new business opportunities.
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales or business development experience within the metals, automotive, industrial manufacturing, or related sectors.
  • Existing book of business and transferable client relationships are required.
  • Strong understanding of metal products, tube mills, fabrication, cutting, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience selling into automotive, construction, OEM, or industrial manufacturing accounts.
  • Proven ability to generate revenue, acquire new customers, and grow strategic accounts.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
