Sales Representative
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to manage an established customer base while driving new business growth within the industrial packaging market. This role is ideal for a results-oriented sales professional with experience in industrial or manufacturing sales, strong relationship-building skills, and a passion for developing new business opportunities. Experience in the plastics or polyethylene packaging industry is a strong asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of industrial customers.
- Develop new business through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Develop and execute a strategic territory sales plan to maximize revenue growth.
- Conduct regular customer visits to identify opportunities and provide ongoing support.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales opportunities.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and customer interactions.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and territory updates to management.
- Continuously expand product knowledge and participate in company training.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of B2B sales experience, preferably in industrial or manufacturing sales.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in the plastics, polyethylene packaging, or related manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is an asset.
