Background

PITCH— Ontario Government to use lessons learned from the Skills Ontario Provincial Entrepreneurial Showcase floor as a proactive template* to inspire a proactive, value-add approach for the 2025 Ontario grades 11 and 12 Skilled Trades Co-op option participants. *Tiger Management Services (TMS) will provide that template after gathering more input from the maker / manufacturing ecosystem on the floor. This ecosystem created more potential business for TMS. The range of the ecosystem included clothing brands, jewelry, landscaping, guitar repair services, shots-on-goal sports tracking apps, 3D printed fidget gear, charcuterie boards and matching furniture. CONTEXT: The first-ever Skills Ontario: Provincial Entrepreneurial Showcase and pitch presentation was held on May 7, 2024, in the Toronto Congress Centre's Cohen Ballroom. This was part of a larger 3-day event with an estimated 2,500 students attending per day.

  I am a 17-year-old high school student who studies at Thornhill Secondary School in Thornhill Ontario. Me and my family migrated from India to Canada over a year ago with dreams and aspirations, to make my parents proud and make the most out of the resources provided in a first-world country. Since I moved, I have been through a lot of major ups and downs, but I remember to always stay strong and work through it. I am a very social person so it was pretty easy for me to adapt to the environment here. I am excited about what is next for my journey and can't wait to see what my future has in store for me. This includes the future of my new entrepreneurial venture with my good friend Paul Briskin. Tiger Management Services (TMS) is an entrepreneurial venture started by two boys who found a passion through their high school accounting course.
