    Background

Mechanical Engineer with experience in advanced composite manufacturing and automotive production environments. My background includes introducing new products into full-scale manufacturing, developing and validating automated production processes, and supporting factory capacity expansion. At Carbon Revolution, I worked across multiple manufacturing processes including CNC machining, robotics, composite layup processes, and automated inspection systems while supporting OEM automotive programs. My work included tooling design, robot program validation, root cause analysis, PFMEA development, and production process optimization. I recently relocated from Australia to Canada to broaden both my professional and personal experience and am currently based in Hamilton, Ontario. I am legally authorized to work in Canada and interested in opportunities within advanced manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, and high-performance engineering industries.

    Job experience

    • January 2023 - January 2026
      Process Engineer
      Carbon Revolution
      Geelong VIC, Australia

Led introduction of 8 new product designs into full-scale production across 6 processes including
CNC Machining, thermal barrier coating (TBC), deflashing, post-cure, grit blasting, Helium leak
testing, achieving production readiness on schedule and meeting quality targets
      ● Designed production tooling and fixtures in SolidWorks incorporating poka-yoke features, reducing
operator error and improving process consistency
      ● Led multiple 8D problem-solving initiatives across CNC machining and TBC processes to reduce
defect rates on new programs to less than the production standard
      ● Worked with shop floor operators to identify how to improve the tool designs to reduce tool
      cleaning time by 50%
      ● Conducted factory-wide ergonomics risk assessments and implemented corrective actions to
      eliminate high-risk manual handling tasks
      ● Audited PFMEA’s to identify process risks with new products and create solutions to support their
introduction on time and within quality targets

    • September 2021 - January 2023
      Manufacturing Engineer
      Carbon Revolution
      Geelong VIC, Australia

Utilised LEAN manufacturing principles to redesign sections of our factory layout to reduce waste
and improve floor-space utilisation that reduced one hour of labour time per wheel
      ● Managed projects involving relocation of machinery and processes to optimise production flow
      ● Oversaw installation of HVAC, extraction, electrical, and pneumatic systems, including scoping,
contractor coordination, and internal communication across teams
      ● Designed new fibre layup benches and fibre consolidation stations to increase manufacturing
      capacity
      ● Utilised change management principles to minimise production impact during machinery and
      process flow changes

    • November 2020 - September 2021
      Graduate Manufacturing Engineer
      Carbon Revolution
      Geelong VIC, Australia

Designed layout and installed workstations for a new aesthetic carbon fibre application and
      managed station balancing and capacity
      ● Ran trials and defined process parameters for a new fibre consolidation process to prevent fibre
wash in the downstream low pressure injection operation
      ● Managed trials on layup technique, tackifier application and material choice to prevent fibre
      distortions
      ● Conducted regular quality meetings with management and a cross functional team to organise
efforts to improve the first pass yield of a new low pressure injection process

    • November 2019 - November 2020
      Engineering Intern
      Carbon Revolution
      Geelong VIC, Australia

      ● Installed and commissioned a TFP carbon fibre embroidery machine to double production capacity
      ● Validated embroidered carbon fibre tow parts from an external supplier, and managed sourcing the
material for 3 months to avoid a production bottle neck
      ● Authored work instructions, MBOMs, PFMEAs and other engineering documentation for new
      manufacturing processes

    • December 2018 - December 2018
      Chassis Section Lead
      Swinburne Formula SAE Team
      Melbourne VIC, Australia

Designed & manufactured a new carbon fibre chassis for the Formula SAE team electric race car
      ● Introduced a new manufacturing method for the chassis that reduced manufacturing time by 2
months and cut costs by over 50%
      ● Managed full 3D CAD for car to ensure correct assembly and to improve driver ergonomics
